calculate_isv | Estimate Portuguese car import tax (ISV, Imposto Sobre Veículos) from the official ISV formula (engine-cc + CO₂ components, with age reduction for used cars). A maintained estimate: it matches the AT (Finanças) simulator to the cent on the common WLTP cases, but is not the official figure and may differ on edge cases (NEDC, light-commercial, month rounding) — confirm the final amount on the official AT simulator. Needs engine displacement (cc), CO₂ (g/km, WLTP), fuel and registration year. |
