Not scored: fewer than three checks apply, usually because no remote answered a credential-free probe or the server is a local package.

Use whenever the agent needs to check whether something a user said is factually correct. Company-financial claims (revenue, net income, cash for public US companies) verify via the structured SEC EDGAR + XBRL fast path with exact percent-delta math; ANY OTHER factual claim (macro statistics, rates, prices, drug data, records) automatically falls through to the grounded pipeline — routed to the right live source, answered with verbatim evidence, then judged. Returns a verdict (confirmed / approximately_correct / refuted / inconclusive / unsupported / could_not_verify), the grounded or structured actual value with pipeworx:// citation, and reasoning. IMPORTANT for callers: could_not_verify means the check did not happen (our LLM or source failed) and carries verification_error{stage,detail} — it is NOT evidence for or against the claim, and must not be shown as one. unsupported means we looked and cover no source for it. Replaces 4–6 sequential calls (NL parsing → entity resolution → data lookup → comparison).
sbir_agency_statsremoved"How many SBIR awards did DOE make last year, and how much total funding?" / "SBIR award count and dollar total for NASA in 2024" — per-agency SBIR/STTR TOTALS, live from www.sbir.gov/awards (the same source sbir_search_awards uses). Specify `agency` (e.g. "DOD", "NASA", "DOE") and, optionally, `year` to scope the count — `year` is the CALENDAR year sbir.gov's own "Award Year" field assigns to the award (verified against sbir.gov/awards' own year[YYYY] filter and each award's detail page, not a federal fiscal year). `award_count` is always exact: sbir.gov/awards states a precise "Showing X-Y of N results" total, never an "at least" estimate. When `agency` is given, this also returns `funding_total`: the dollar sum of award amounts across the matched awards. sbir.gov/awards has no funding-total aggregate of its own — the dollar amount lives only on each award's own detail page, one fetch per award — so funding_total sums at most the first 25 matching awards and sets `funding_total_complete: true` only when that covers every match; otherwise `funding_total_complete: false` and `funding_note` says how many of how many were actually summed (narrow with sbir_search_awards' company/state/keyword filters to bring a large match count under 25 for an exact sum — never trust a `false` total as the real figure). Omit `agency` to see counts only (no funding_total — aggregating funding across all major agencies in one call would mean hundreds of detail-page fetches) across the major agencies (DOD, HHS, NASA, NSF, DOE, USDA) at once.
sbir_company_awardsremovedGet complete SBIR/STTR award history for a company from www.sbir.gov/awards. Returns all awards with amounts, agencies, topics, and funding phases.
sbir_search_solicitationsremoved"Which SBIR or STTR solicitations are open at [agency]?" / "current SBIR topics" / "open DoD SBIR solicitations" / "SBIR proposal deadlines" / "SBIR opportunities for [research area]" — active SBIR/STTR funding opportunities merged from three live sources: www.sbir.gov/topics (multi-agency topic listing), the DoD/DARPA topics-app JSON API (Pre-Release and Open DoD topics sbir.gov itself does not yet carry), and Grants.gov (NIH/HHS SBIR & STTR Notices of Funding Opportunity, which never appear as sbir.gov "topics" at all — e.g. the NIH parent SBIR/STTR announcements and NCI omnibus solicitations). Every result names its own `program` (SBIR or STTR) and `source`, and a Grants.gov hit is only ever labelled SBIR/STTR when its own title or NIH activity code says so — a plain, unrelated grant is never presented as SBIR. Filter by keyword, agency (e.g., "DOD", "DARPA", "NSF", "NASA", "DOE", "HHS", "NIH"), and open/closed status. This is the tool for open federal small-business R&D solicitations and topics; for who already WON SBIR money use sbir_search_awards.
sbir_search_awardsremoved"Which companies won NASA SBIR Phase II awards for autonomy?" / "SBIR awards for [topic]" / "who received DoD SBIR funding" / "Phase I and Phase II awards at [agency]" — AWARDED federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and STTR grants: the small-business R&D contracts an agency has already funded. Search by keyword, agency ("DOD", "NASA", "DARPA", "NSF", "DOE", "HHS"), year, company, or state. Returns the winning company, award amount, agency and branch, topic code, abstract, fiscal year, and Phase (I/II/III), live from www.sbir.gov/awards (219,000+ awards, 1983-present). This is the tool for who WON federal small-business R&D money and how much; for opportunities still open to bid use sbir_search_solicitations.
forgetremovedDelete a previously stored memory by key. Use when context is stale, the task is done, or you want to clear sensitive data the agent saved earlier. Pair with remember and recall.
rememberremovedSave data the agent will need to reuse later — across this conversation or across sessions. Use when you discover something worth carrying forward (a resolved ticker, a target address, a user preference, a research subject) so you don't have to look it up again. Stored as a key-value pair scoped by your identifier. Authenticated users get persistent memory; anonymous sessions retain memory for 24 hours. Pair with recall to retrieve later, forget to delete.
pipeworx_feedbackremovedTell the Pipeworx team something is broken, missing, or needs to exist. Use when a tool returns wrong/stale data (bug), when a tool you wish existed isn't in the catalog (feature/data_gap), or when something worked surprisingly well (praise). ONLY for tools served by this Pipeworx connection — if the tool came from a different MCP server in your client (another vendor's Gmail, Splunk, Slack, etc. connector), we cannot fix it and reporting it here only delays you; file it with that server instead. Not sure? Pipeworx tool names are the ones this connection lists. Describe the issue in terms of Pipeworx tools/packs — don't paste the end-user's prompt. Filing without an account returns a `claim_token`; pass it back later as pipeworx_feedback({claim_token:"pwfb_…"}) to read whether it was fixed and what changed. The team reads digests daily and signal directly affects roadmap. Rate-limited to 5 per identifier per day. Free; doesn't count against your tool-call quota.
ai_visibility_checkremovedProbe one or more LLMs for what they know about a business / brand / product / topic and score visibility (0-100) per model. Default model is Workers AI Llama-3.3-70b (free); pass `_apiKey` to also probe Anthropic (BYO key — you pay Anthropic directly for those calls). Returns per-model {score, confidence, signals, raw_response} + a combined view. Useful for AI-marketing audits, pre-launch brand checks, competitive monitoring.
generate_llms_txtremovedGenerate a production-ready llms.txt file for any URL so AI crawlers (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity) can index the site cleanly. Fetches the page, extracts title/description/key links, and emits the standard llms.txt markdown format. Output is a single text blob ready to drop at site-root/llms.txt. Useful for: getting a client's site indexed by AI, drafting llms.txt for your own project, or auditing how an AI crawler would see a competitor.
