# Support

Questions, problems or reports about protogrid: the portal, the REST API, the MCP server, the ChatGPT and Claude plugins, and the SDKs. Write to [hello@protogrid.dev](mailto:hello@protogrid.dev); a person reads every message.

## Write to us

Email [hello@protogrid.dev](mailto:hello@protogrid.dev). It helps to include:

- the server name (for example `io.github.owner/name`) or the URL you checked;
- the link to a check result, if you have one (each result has a shareable link);
- what you did, what you expected and what happened instead.

Never send API keys, tokens or passwords; we do not need them for anything.

## Using protogrid from ChatGPT, Claude or another client

Our MCP server is `https://api.protogrid.dev/mcp`: remote, read-only and without sign-in. If your client cannot connect, check that it supports remote MCP servers over streamable HTTP, then try again. The [MCP server reference](https://docs.protogrid.dev/reference/mcp-server/) lists every tool and its answers.

## Accounts, keys and limits

Sign in with GitHub for a free API key with higher limits; [API keys and limits](https://docs.protogrid.dev/reference/api-keys/) explains each limit. To see listings in a restricted category (adult content, gambling), or to delete your account and its data, write from the email address of your GitHub account.

## Reports

Report a listing that impersonates someone, misleads agents or should not be shown, and any security problem in protogrid itself, to the same address. Security reports are answered first; please give us time to fix the problem before telling others.
