## Trust

- hygiene: 80
- liveness: 98
- freshness: 100
- provenance: 55
- drivers: +dns-namespace +website +reachable +uptime-96% +updated-1d-ago -no-repository
- Derived from observable signals (official registry feed and our own credential-free probes); no code audit performed.

## Quality 94/100 (strong)

### protocol: 100 (weight 25)

- pass `protocol.modern`: supports 2026-07-28 (server/discover)
- pass `protocol.stateless`: answers without a session
- pass `protocol.transport`: streamable HTTP
- pass `protocol.list_ttl`: tool list is cacheable (ttlMs 3600000)

### authorization: n/a (weight 15)

- n/a `auth.prm`, `auth.as_metadata`, `auth.cimd`: no remote uses OAuth
- n/a `auth.secret_in_url`: no templated URL

### tool hygiene: 86 (weight 30)

- pass `tools.descriptions`: every tool has a description
- pass `tools.description_length`: descriptions are concise
- pass `tools.schemas`: every tool has an object input schema
- pass `tools.annotations`: 4 of 4 tools declare readOnlyHint or destructiveHint
- fail `tools.directory_hints`: no tool declares all four of readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint and openWorldHint; missing: validate_spintax (destructiveHint); render_spintax (destructiveHint); spintax_authoring_guide (destructiveHint); …
- pass `tools.token_cost`: about 992 tokens to load every tool
- pass `tools.api_dump`: tools are not a one-to-one API dump

### stability: 100 (weight 15)

- pass `stability.changes`: 4 tool changes in 30 days
- pass `stability.rug_pull`: no tool changed its meaning under the same name

### dependencies: n/a (weight 15)

- n/a `deps.known_vulns`, `deps.mcp_sdk_version`, `deps.resolvable`: deps.dev does not know @spintax/mcp@0.4.4

- tools: 4, about 992 tokens to load them all
- tool set hash: e2d1e6f914e2e7d572722ecf6ff2528f
- tools last changed: 2026-10-03T14:24:29.887Z
- badge: [![protogrid quality](https://protogrid.dev/badge/net.spintax/mcp.svg)](https://protogrid.dev/servers/net.spintax/mcp)
- Checks run on what our credential-free, read-only probes observe; tools are never called and no code audit is performed.

### Tool changes

- 2026-10-03 `spintax_authoring_guide` changed (description)
  - before: Read this BEFORE writing or editing a spintax template — it is the canonical authoring guide the whole spintax toolchain is written against, not a tutorial. Pass the locale you will author in: for ru/uk/be and sr/hr/bs it carries the agreement and case rules that decide whether the variants read as human writing, which is the hard part and the part a valid template can still get wrong. Returns text to read, not a template.
  - after: Read this BEFORE writing or editing a spintax template — it is the canonical authoring guide the whole spintax toolchain is written against, not a tutorial. Pass the locale you will author in: for ru/uk/be and sr/hr/bs it carries the agreement and case rules that decide whether the variants read as human writing, which is the hard part and the part a valid template can still get wrong; for ar, the six plural forms and their order. Returns text to read, not a template.

## Packages

- npm @spintax/mcp@0.4.4

## Tools (4)

- `analyze_spintax`: Reports what the template needs and contains: refs (variables referenced), sets (#set macros, re-picked per reference), defs (#def, rolled once per render), includes, diagnostics, and best-effort construct counts. Answers "what variables must I supply" — it is NOT a variant-cardinality counter.
- `render_spintax`: Renders up to 20 variants. With a seed the output is deterministic (variant i uses seed "<seed>#<i>"); without one it is random. The engine is lenient: structural mistakes never throw, they surface in the output — run validate_spintax first.
- `spintax_authoring_guide`: Read this BEFORE writing or editing a spintax template — it is the canonical authoring guide the whole spintax toolchain is written against, not a tutorial. Pass the locale you will author in: for ru/uk/be and sr/hr/bs it carries the agreement and case rules that decide whether the variants read as human writing, which is the hard part and the part a valid template can still get wrong; for ar, the six plural forms and their order. Returns text to read, not a template.
- `validate_spintax`: Static validation: returns diagnostics with severity, stable code, message and 1-based line/column. No "error"-severity diagnostic means the template is structurally sound — read the warnings before rendering, because some of them (plural.locale-missing) mean a block will not resolve. Pass knownVariables for names you will supply at render time to silence their variable.undefined warnings.
