- `gdacs.disasters.history`: Query the GDACS historical disaster archive from 2000 onwards. Filter by date range, event type, country, and alert level. Returns past earthquakes, cyclones, floods, and volcanoes for disaster frequency analysis and regional risk assessment.
- `gebco.elevation.point`: Get the seafloor depth or land elevation at a single latitude/longitude point from the GEBCO global bathymetric grid (General Bathymetric Chart of the Oceans, IHO/IOC Seabed 2030 project). Returns elevation in meters relative to sea level — negative for ocean depth, positive for land height, e.g. -5943 near the Mariana Trench or 2947 in the Himalayan foothills. Optionally query "sub_ice_topo" to get bedrock topography beneath Antarctic/Greenland ice sheets instead of the ice surface. Data: GEBCO WMS, public domain, no auth required.
- `gebco.elevation.profile`: Get seafloor depth or land elevation for up to 15 latitude/longitude points in one call from the GEBCO global bathymetric grid — useful for building a depth/elevation profile along a route or transect (e.g. a shipping lane or hiking trail). Returns elevation in meters relative to sea level for each point, in the same order as the input. Optionally query "sub_ice_topo" to get bedrock topography beneath ice sheets instead of the ice surface. Data: GEBCO WMS, public domain, no auth required.
- `geo.address.autocomplete`: Get autocomplete suggestions as you type an address or place name — for real-time search UX (Geoapify/OSM)
- `geo.address.geocode`: Convert an address, place name, or landmark to geographic coordinates (lat/lon) with structured address data (Geoapify/OSM)
- `geo.address.reverse`: Convert geographic coordinates (lat/lon) to a structured address — street, city, country, postal code (Geoapify/OSM)
- `geoboundaries.boundary.available_levels`: Check which administrative levels (ADM0 through ADM5) exist for a given country, with the local admin name and unit count at each available level (e.g. Kenya has ADM0-ADM2 only; France has ADM0-ADM4). Call this before geoboundaries.boundary.detail to avoid requesting a level that does not exist for that country. Data: geoBoundaries (William & Mary geoLab), no auth required.
- `geoboundaries.boundary.detail`: Get metadata for one country's administrative boundary at a given level: official name, admin unit count, area/perimeter stats, source, license, and download URLs for the full GeoJSON, simplified GeoJSON, TopoJSON, and a preview PNG. Levels: ADM0 (country outline), ADM1 (state/province), ADM2 (county/district), ADM3-ADM5 (finer, country-dependent). Geometry is NOT embedded in the response (files can exceed 10MB) — fetch the returned URL directly for the shapes. Data: geoBoundaries (William & Mary geoLab), no auth required.
- `geoboundaries.boundary.list_countries`: List every country's administrative boundary metadata at one level (ADM0 country outline by default, or ADM1-ADM5 for finer subdivisions where available): ISO3 code, name, admin unit count, continent/region, and geometry download URLs. Useful for discovering coverage before requesting a single country with geoboundaries.boundary.detail. Data: geoBoundaries (William & Mary geoLab), no auth required.
- `geodiva.geology.eruption_search`: Search documented eruptions for an Alaska volcano by volcano_id (from geodiva.volcano_list), a specific eruption_id, or a start/end date range (years or ISO dates, including negative/BCE years for prehistoric eruptions). Returns eruption name, narrative description, and start/end date fields. Data: geodiva.avo.alaska.edu, no auth required, US Government public domain.
- `geodiva.geology.volcano_detail`: Get full detail for a single Alaska volcano — geology, composition, age, threat rating, and a narrative description — looked up by volcano ID (e.g. "ak52"), VNUM, or name. Data: geodiva.avo.alaska.edu, no auth required, US Government public domain.
- `geodiva.geology.volcano_list`: Browse Alaska's 356 volcanoes from the AVO GeoDIVA database, optionally filtered by NVEWS threat level, geologic age class, monitored-network status, or a name substring. Returns volcano ID, VNUM, name, type, composition, and threat rating for each match. Data: geodiva.avo.alaska.edu, no auth required, US Government public domain.
