# 3DPACK.ING — Container & Truck Load Planning

> Container load planning in Claude & ChatGPT: what fits, how full, a labelled 3D plan in the chat.

- name: ing.3dpack/container-loading
- version: 0.4.0
- connection class: R2 (oauth_consent_once)
- trust: 92/100 flags: duplicate-repo
- quality: 82/100 (good)
- owner: not claimed
- descriptor: https://api.protogrid.dev/v1/servers/ing.3dpack%2Fcontainer-loading

**An agent can connect after a one-time OAuth consent by a human.** Remote endpoint behind OAuth 2. Tokens stay with the agent; the registry only exposes the authorization metadata.

## Connection (mcpServers)

```json
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "container-loading": {
      "type": "http",
      "url": "https://3dpack.ing/mcp"
    }
  }
}
```

## Trust

- hygiene: 80
- liveness: 100
- freshness: 100
- provenance: 85
- drivers: +repository +dns-namespace +website +reachable +uptime-100% +updated-25d-ago -duplicate-repo(4 names)
- Derived from observable signals (official registry feed and our own credential-free probes); no code audit performed.

## Quality 82/100 (good)

### protocol: n/a (weight 25)

- n/a `protocol.modern`, `protocol.stateless`, `protocol.transport`, `protocol.list_ttl`: no remote answered a protocol handshake (not probed yet, unreachable, or local-only)

### authorization: 100 (weight 15)

- pass `auth.prm`: Protected Resource Metadata (RFC 9728) published
- pass `auth.as_metadata`: authorization server metadata reachable
- pass `auth.cimd`: Client ID Metadata Documents supported
- n/a `auth.secret_in_url`: no templated URL

### tool hygiene: 71 (weight 30)

- pass `tools.descriptions`: every tool has a description
- pass `tools.description_length`: descriptions are concise
- pass `tools.schemas`: every tool has an object input schema
- fail `tools.annotations`: no tool declares readOnlyHint or destructiveHint, so clients cannot tell safe calls from risky ones
- fail `tools.directory_hints`: no tool declares all four of readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint and openWorldHint; missing: pack_shipment (readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint, openWorldHint)
- pass `tools.token_cost`: about 506 tokens to load every tool
- pass `tools.api_dump`: tools are not a one-to-one API dump

### stability: 100 (weight 15)

- pass `stability.changes`: no tool changes in 30 days
- pass `stability.rug_pull`: no tool changed its meaning under the same name

### dependencies: 67 (weight 15)

- pass `deps.known_vulns`: no known advisory in 98 resolved packages
- fail `deps.mcp_sdk_version`: @modelcontextprotocol/sdk 1.30.1 has 1 known advisory (GHSA-6qxp-vccf-f47h); update @modelcontextprotocol/sdk to 1.31.0 or later
- pass `deps.resolvable`: @3dpacking/mcp-server@0.3.0 resolved: 98 packages

- tools: 1, about 506 tokens to load them all
- tool set hash: 969cf8f69223362710b3c8d3b4e14357
- badge: [![protogrid quality](https://protogrid.dev/badge/ing.3dpack/container-loading.svg)](https://protogrid.dev/servers/ing.3dpack/container-loading)
- Checks run on what our credential-free, read-only probes observe; tools are never called and no code audit is performed.

## Packages

- npm @3dpacking/mcp-server@0.3.0

## Tools (1)

- `pack_shipment`: Work out how a shipment fits into shipping containers, trucks or pallets, using a real 3D bin-packing solver. Describe the cargo in plain English -- quantities, dimensions, weights, and any constraints such as fragile, non-tiltable, max stack height or a preferred container type -- and get back which containers are needed, how full each one is, anything that did not fit, and a link to an interactive 3D load plan.

Use this instead of estimating from volume. Volume arithmetic ignores stacking rules, orientation and weight limits, and overstates what fits by a wide margin on real cargo.

For cargo that must not overhang -- drums, glass, anything that must stay level -- set `stability`. It is the one constraint the prompt cannot express, because it governs how the solver stacks rather than what is being shipped.
