## Trust

- hygiene: 80
- liveness: 100
- freshness: 85
- provenance: 55
- drivers: +dns-namespace +website +reachable +uptime-100% ~updated-62d-ago -no-repository
- Derived from observable signals (official registry feed and our own credential-free probes); no code audit performed.

## Quality 94/100 (strong)

### protocol: 100 (weight 25)

- pass `protocol.modern`: supports 2026-07-28 (server/discover)
- pass `protocol.stateless`: answers without a session
- pass `protocol.transport`: streamable HTTP
- pass `protocol.list_ttl`: tool list is cacheable (ttlMs 3600000)

### authorization: n/a (weight 15)

- n/a `auth.prm`, `auth.as_metadata`, `auth.cimd`: no remote uses OAuth
- n/a `auth.secret_in_url`: no templated URL

### tool hygiene: 86 (weight 30)

- pass `tools.descriptions`: every tool has a description
- pass `tools.description_length`: descriptions are concise
- pass `tools.schemas`: every tool has an object input schema
- pass `tools.annotations`: 3 of 3 tools declare readOnlyHint or destructiveHint
- fail `tools.directory_hints`: no tool declares all four of readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint and openWorldHint; missing: format_code (destructiveHint, idempotentHint, openWorldHint); ask_codefmt (destructiveHint, idempotentHint, openWorldHint); format_json (destructiveHint, idempotentHint, openWorldHint)
- pass `tools.token_cost`: about 507 tokens to load every tool
- pass `tools.api_dump`: tools are not a one-to-one API dump

### stability: 100 (weight 15)

- pass `stability.changes`: 4 tool changes in 30 days
- pass `stability.rug_pull`: no tool changed its meaning under the same name

### dependencies: n/a (weight 15)

- n/a `deps.known_vulns`, `deps.mcp_sdk_version`, `deps.resolvable`: no npm or PyPI package

- tools: 3, about 507 tokens to load them all
- tool set hash: 7006e310d8140cb80f9dcaf47a5a315c
- tools last changed: 2026-10-02T22:08:53.994Z
- badge: [![protogrid quality](https://protogrid.dev/badge/dev.codefmt/codefmt.svg)](https://protogrid.dev/servers/dev.codefmt/codefmt)
- Checks run on what our credential-free, read-only probes observe; tools are never called and no code audit is performed.

## Tools (3)

- `ask_codefmt`: Ask a natural-language question about codefmt: formatting and linting JavaScript, Python, and HubL for automation platforms (Zapier, n8n, Pipedream, Make, HubSpot). Returns a grounded answer drawn from codefmt's own content with cited source URLs and a confidence score (0-1, how much of the question the answer covers, weighted toward its rarer terms); off-topic or too-weakly-matched questions are refused rather than guessed.
- `format_code`: Format and lint JavaScript, Python, or HubL code for Zapier, n8n, Pipedream, Make, or HubSpot. Wraps the source in each platform's runtime shell before formatting so top-level await, bare return, and injected globals don't break the formatter. Returns formatted code plus lint diagnostics.
- `format_json`: Format (pretty-print or minify) a JSON document, optionally sorting object keys. Number literals are preserved exactly (64-bit IDs safe); parse errors report the exact line and column.
