## Quality 92/100 (strong)

### protocol: 88 (weight 25)

- pass `protocol.modern`: supports 2026-07-28 (server/discover)
- pass `protocol.stateless`: answers without a session
- pass `protocol.transport`: streamable HTTP
- warn `protocol.list_ttl`: tools/list declares ttlMs 0, so clients re-fetch it on every use

### authorization: n/a (weight 15)

- n/a `auth.prm`, `auth.as_metadata`, `auth.cimd`: no remote uses OAuth
- n/a `auth.secret_in_url`: no templated URL

### tool hygiene: 93 (weight 30)

- pass `tools.descriptions`: every tool has a description
- warn `tools.description_length`: 1 tools have descriptions over 1,024 characters, which crowds the context
- pass `tools.schemas`: every tool has an object input schema
- pass `tools.annotations`: 3 of 3 tools declare readOnlyHint or destructiveHint
- pass `tools.directory_hints`: every tool declares readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint and openWorldHint
- pass `tools.token_cost`: about 980 tokens to load every tool
- pass `tools.api_dump`: tools are not a one-to-one API dump

### stability: 100 (weight 15)

- pass `stability.changes`: no tool changes in 30 days
- pass `stability.rug_pull`: no tool changed its meaning under the same name

### dependencies: n/a (weight 15)

- n/a `deps.known_vulns`, `deps.mcp_sdk_version`, `deps.resolvable`: no npm or PyPI package

- tools: 3, about 980 tokens to load them all
- tool set hash: 43bd956308218d4c19353e16c3c05883
- badge: [![protogrid quality](https://protogrid.dev/badge/com.modernmustardseed/own-it.svg)](https://protogrid.dev/servers/com.modernmustardseed/own-it)
- Checks run on what our credential-free, read-only probes observe; tools are never called and no code audit is performed.

## Tools (3)

- `audit_ownership`: Map who controls each layer of a business’s web presence and how hard each would be to leave, from public data only: domain registration over RDAP (registrar, registrant when public, EPP status and transfer locks, expiry, DNSSEC), DNS host from the nameservers, website platform from public fingerprints (Wix, Squarespace, Shopify, WordPress, Webflow, GoDaddy Website Builder, Duda, HighLevel, Framer, agency and franchise builders and others), email provider from MX and SPF, analytics and ad tag IDs present in the page (GA4, Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and others), call tracking, embedded booking, CRM, chat and email signup tools, and profile links including a Google Business Profile when supplied. Returns an ownership map with, per layer, who controls it, a portability rating, a plain-words reason, evidence, sources and the first step to take control, plus a 0 to 100 portability score. It cannot see inside any account, so ownership of a Google Business Profile or tag account is reported as a check to make, never guessed. Results are cached for 24 hours.
- `check_domain_control`: Check who controls a domain, its DNS and its email, without reading the website: registrar and IANA id, registrant when the public record shows one, EPP status codes and transfer locks, registration and expiry dates, DNSSEC, nameservers and DNS host, and mail provider from MX and SPF. Returns a 0 to 100 control score, each layer with a reason and the first step to take control, and the raw registration facts. Shares the 24 hour cache with audit_ownership.
- `list_fingerprints`: List the rules Own It uses to name vendors: website platforms, hosts, agency builders and reseller registrars, DNS hosts, email providers, tag ID formats, call tracking, booking and CRM widgets, and profile sites, each with its public marker, portability rating and source. Without kind it returns counts per kind. Static reference, no network access.
