## Trust

- hygiene: 100
- liveness: 100
- freshness: 85
- provenance: 85
- drivers: +repository +dns-namespace +website +reachable +uptime-100% ~updated-47d-ago
- Derived from observable signals (official registry feed and our own credential-free probes); no code audit performed.

## Quality 89/100 (good)

### protocol: 88 (weight 25)

- pass `protocol.modern`: supports 2026-07-28 (server/discover)
- pass `protocol.stateless`: answers without a session
- pass `protocol.transport`: streamable HTTP
- warn `protocol.list_ttl`: tools/list declares ttlMs 0, so clients re-fetch it on every use

### authorization: n/a (weight 15)

- n/a `auth.prm`, `auth.as_metadata`, `auth.cimd`: no remote uses OAuth
- n/a `auth.secret_in_url`: no templated URL

### tool hygiene: 86 (weight 30)

- pass `tools.descriptions`: every tool has a description
- pass `tools.description_length`: descriptions are concise
- pass `tools.schemas`: every tool has an object input schema
- pass `tools.annotations`: 4 of 4 tools declare readOnlyHint or destructiveHint
- fail `tools.directory_hints`: no tool declares all four of readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint and openWorldHint; missing: check_plan (destructiveHint, idempotentHint, openWorldHint); check_item (destructiveHint, idempotentHint, openWorldHint); check_venue (destructiveHint, idempotentHint, openWorldHint); …
- pass `tools.token_cost`: about 1,638 tokens to load every tool
- pass `tools.api_dump`: tools are not a one-to-one API dump

### stability: 100 (weight 15)

- pass `stability.changes`: no tool changes in 30 days
- pass `stability.rug_pull`: no tool changed its meaning under the same name

### dependencies: n/a (weight 15)

- n/a `deps.known_vulns`, `deps.mcp_sdk_version`, `deps.resolvable`: no npm or PyPI package

- tools: 4, about 1,638 tokens to load them all
- tool set hash: 5d95d05da11222e10e7bc9adc28fa9f7
- badge: [![protogrid quality](https://protogrid.dev/badge/com.knowngate/verify.svg)](https://protogrid.dev/servers/com.knowngate/verify)
- Checks run on what our credential-free, read-only probes observe; tools are never called and no code audit is performed.

## Packages

## Tools (4)

- `check_item`: Rule one food subject against the household premise (restrictions, thresholds, or both). Needs a key (Authorization: Bearer kg_live_…); create a free one with the register tool. Returns one of four verdicts (no_conflict_found, conflict_found, ask_one_question, couldnt_verify) with typed hits, source kind and read date. Unknown counts as no; the word safe is never used.
- `check_plan`: Rule a set of items at once: a recipe's ingredients, a basket, several days. Needs a key (Authorization: Bearer kg_live_…); create a free one with the register tool. Up to 25 subjects, one call, one verdict per item plus a summary line. Each item carries its own evidence, source and read date.
- `check_venue`: Rule a whole venue's published chart against the household restrictions in one call. Needs a key (Authorization: Bearer kg_live_…); create a free one with the register tool. Returns per-verdict counts, the most severe items, the operator's cross-contact caveat verbatim, and the chart's source and read date. A venue with no machine-readable chart says so honestly.
- `register`: Sign yourself up for a developer key without leaving MCP. The email is contact and recovery, not a wall. One key per email, free tier (100 checks a month); the key is in this response and never shown again. Nothing on knowngate.com itself needs a key.
