### protocol: 75 (weight 25)

- warn `protocol.modern`: newest supported version is 2025-06-18; 2026-07-28 not supported, older versions are deprecated until 2027-07-28
- n/a `protocol.stateless`: only applies to 2026-07-28 servers
- pass `protocol.transport`: streamable HTTP
- n/a `protocol.list_ttl`: only applies to 2026-07-28 servers

### authorization: n/a (weight 15)

- n/a `auth.prm`, `auth.as_metadata`, `auth.cimd`: no remote uses OAuth

### tool hygiene: 71 (weight 30)

- pass `tools.descriptions`: every tool has a description
- pass `tools.description_length`: descriptions are concise
- pass `tools.schemas`: every tool has an object input schema
- fail `tools.annotations`: no tool declares readOnlyHint or destructiveHint, so clients cannot tell safe calls from risky ones
- fail `tools.directory_hints`: no tool declares all four of readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint and openWorldHint; missing: monthly_summary (readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint, openWorldHint); mtr_fare (readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint, openWorldHint); subsidy_amount (readOnlyHint, destructiveHint, idempotentHint, openWorldHint); …
- pass `tools.token_cost`: about 703 tokens to load every tool
- pass `tools.api_dump`: tools are not a one-to-one API dump

### stability: 100 (weight 15)

- pass `stability.changes`: no tool changes in 30 days
- pass `stability.rug_pull`: no tool changed its meaning under the same name

### dependencies: n/a (weight 15)

- n/a `deps.known_vulns`, `deps.mcp_sdk_version`, `deps.resolvable`: no npm or PyPI package

- tools: 4, about 703 tokens to load them all
- tool set hash: 4c4ba7317a060a997fa2f3c50b275c51
- badge: [![protogrid quality](https://protogrid.dev/badge/app.rowb.hk-transit/fares.svg)](https://protogrid.dev/servers/app.rowb.hk-transit/fares)
- Checks run on what our credential-free, read-only probes observe; tools are never called and no code audit is performed.

## Tools (4)

- `log_trip`: Record one public transport trip (date, from, to, fare, mode, which account paid) so it counts towards a monthly total and the subsidy estimate. Writes to your own ledger; a bearer API key is required and the call counts against the same monthly allowance as the REST endpoint.
- `monthly_summary`: Totals for one month from the trips you recorded: trip count, total fare, breakdown by mode and by payment account, and the subsidy estimate computed separately for the Octopus and AlipayHK accounts. Requires a bearer API key.
- `mtr_fare`: Look up the published MTR fare between two stations in Hong Kong, by station name or MTR station id. Returns the Octopus adult/student/JoyYou-sixty/child/elderly/PWD fares and the single-journey adult fare in HKD, with the open-data source URL. Deterministic: same input, same answer. Read-only. No key required.
- `subsidy_amount`: Compute the Hong Kong Public Transport Fare Subsidy Scheme amount for one month, from the expenses recorded under an Octopus account and an AlipayHK account. Rule taken verbatim from the Government page: one-third of the monthly public transport expenses in excess of a $500 threshold, capped at $400 per month per account; the two accounts are never combined. Returns both the truncated whole-dollar figure and the exact one-third figure. Deterministic arithmetic only. Read-only. No key required.
