# Slack MCP servers

MCP servers that let an agent read channels, search history and post messages in Slack.

## Before you choose

Slack servers need a bot or user token from a Slack app in your workspace; the token decides which channels the agent can see and where it can post.

Posting is visible to your colleagues at once, so check which tools send messages and keep a separate app for experiments.
